Chris Bigler, born in Switzerland, spent most of his life as a businessman. He began playing poker during his first visit to Las Vegas in 1997. And only a year later, people were beginning to take note of this rising poker star.

What fascinated Chris most about poker were the intricacies of the game itself and the constant education required to improve ones play. With a background in business, he had the intelligence and dedication to learn the game thoroughly and excel quickly.

With less than a decade of experience, Chris has, quite literally, a world of experience under his belt, as he plays in tournaments around the globe on a regular basis. He has accumulated over $1.3 million in tournament winnings thus far, including six WSOP cashes and seven WPT cashes.

Chris has become more well-known since the Professional Poker Tour debuted this year. Making his way to the first two final tables of the tournament and showing that he is playing the best poker of his life. And his often-used exclamation, "Holy Cow!" has become his signature phrase for PPT fans.

Though his image at the table is quite fierce, Chris is a good-hearted person and much appreciated by his friends. He's a staunch proponent of non-smoking poker rooms and the elimination of dealer abuse. Also, he feels quite strongly about making the world a better place for his son through peace and good works.
